Summary

Amends the

Broadcasting Services Act 1992
to establish a new regulatory framework for Internet content hosts, content services delivered over convergent devices including live streamed content services, mobile phone-based services and services that provide links to content; and makes related amendments to eight other Acts. Also amends the
Telecommunications (Consumer Protection and Service Standards) Act 1999
to include the Indian Ocean Territories in reviews by the Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committee.
